Our Story

About us

Since 2006, Ostiguy has done one thing well: help teens in recovery finish high school without having to choose between their sobriety and their diploma. We're a partnership of Action for Boston Community Development (ABCD) and Boston Public Schools — one of the first recovery high schools in Massachusetts.

Every student who walks through our door already has the hardest part figured out: they've decided to change their relationship with drugs or alcohol or both. Our job is everything else — certified teachers, small classes, a licensed recovery counselor, and a peer community where nobody has to explain why they don't drink at the party.
